Online Class Series: Practice 3 - Stop Motion Animation

Artuta offers a series of online art classes, focusing on various creative techniques. With our highly interactive live online classes, art learning is no longer limited by location. From November 2023 to February 2024 explore a multitude of art processes; including observational drawing in still life and portraiture, stop motion animation, and comics drawing. Whether you're building a portfolio or honing your artistry, our classes cater to all levels of students.

In the upcoming class on January 20, students will learn the fundamental concepts of stop motion animation. Stop motion animation is an original filmmaking technique that involves physically manipulating objects frame-by-frame to create the illusion of movement. With the guidance of our Artuta instructor, students will use the smartphone app "GIF Toaster" to complete their short animations.
